National Museum of Wildlife Art Plein Air Festival

Doug Monson participating in the 2012 National Museum of Wildlife Art, Plein Air Art Festival. Standing on the back deck over looking Jackson Hole Elk Refuge next to the drawing of “Flat Creek Raven”. This picture was inspired by all the Raven’s in this area using Flat Creek as the background. This subject matter came to Doug as he visualized a raven making his way from Flat Creek to the Grand Tetons. It was a beautiful spring day with a slight breeze and plenty of good company. Around 40 artists were participating at this great event.
